Top 30 French ski resorts on Twitter (on 2 May ’13)

Twitter was a bit noisier in April than Facebook for French ski resorts, with follower growth averaging just over 3% for the top 30, around double that for the top 50 on Facebook.

Chamonix climbed into the top 5 (up 11%) as it is still very much open for skiing and also ran a social media campaign to attract women to the resort at the start of the month.

Beyond the top 30 (still) but growing fast in April were Cauterets (up 26%), Meribel and Combloux (both up 13%) and Tignes PR Girls (up 8%). Cauterets stayed open till mid-month and hosted the Pyrenees Snowboard Tour (PST) on 6-7 April.
